What is the Al Boraq train?

Al Boraq is Morocco’s high-speed train operated by ONCF. It connects Casablanca, Rabat, Kenitra, and Tangier at speeds up to 320 km/h, significantly reducing travel time.

Can I change or cancel my ONCF ticket?

Yes. Tickets can be exchanged or refunded at ONCF counters or online (if booked through the official website). Refund and change policies depend on the ticket type and how far in advance you make the request.

Are ONCF trains reliable and safe?

Yes. ONCF trains are considered safe and reliable. Al Boraq and long-distance trains are punctual and maintained to international standards. Delays can happen occasionally, especially on regional lines.

Do Moroccan trains have Wi-Fi?

Most ONCF trains, including Al Boraq, do not currently offer free Wi-Fi onboard. Some First Class coaches may offer limited connectivity, but it is not guaranteed.

Do ONCF trains have First and Second Class?

Yes. ONCF offers both First Class and Second Class tickets. First Class provides assigned seating and more comfort, while Second Class is more budget-friendly with standard seating.

How much do ONCF tickets cost?

Ticket prices vary depending on the route, class, and how early you book. For example, Casablanca to Marrakech can range from 49–160 MAD. Use our [Prices page] to view fare estimates.

Is it better to buy ONCF tickets in advance?

Yes. Booking in advance helps secure lower fares and guarantees your seat, especially during holidays or busy weekends.

How early should I arrive at the train station?

For regular trains, arriving 10–15 minutes before departure is usually enough. For Al Boraq high-speed trains, arrive at least 20–30 minutes early, especially if it’s your first time.

Do children get discounted train tickets?

Yes. ONCF offers discounts for children under 4 (free) and reduced prices for kids aged 4–12. Proof of age may be required.

Can I take pets on ONCF trains?

Are ONCF train stations easy to navigate?
